Generic Commissioning Procedure

1) Check the installation complies with relevant Regulations and standarts as
well as manufacturers instructions.
2) Check Ventilation requirements have been met.
3) Check all joints including gas and water.
4) Carry out a tightness test.
5) Cold flush the central heating circuit or the domestic hot water circuit in
accordance with manufactures instructions.
6) Purge the appliance and associated pipe work.
7) Carry out preliminary electrical checks.
8) Light the appliance and check the flame picture,burner pressure and gas rate
in accordance with the manufactures instructions.
9) Hot flush the central heating circuit or the domestic hot water circuit in
accordance with manufactures instructions.
10) If the appliance is room sealed check the case seal,and integrity of the casing.
11) If the appliance is open flued carry out a flue flow and spillage test.
12) Check safety controls operate correctly.
13) Check all customer controls are operating correctly.
14) Check al temperature controls are operating correctly.
15) If required check the water flow rate and temperature rise in accordance with
manufactures instructions.
16) Demonstrate the correct operation of the appliance to the customer.
17) Leave instructions with the customer.
