Point To Note

All boiler manufacturers now insist on a complete power flush when adding a new boiler to an existing system, or a pre commision flush when installing a completely new system. The latter is to remove any excess solder and flux before adding the boiler.
Many manufacturers will not honour any warrantee if a power flush has not been done and can check by testing the water in the system.
In short, power flushing is recommended and insisted upon for a reason. Cutting costs by not doing it at installation could lead to a big headache and a big hole in your pocket in a very short time if the boiler develops a fault.
